Re: Wiw?

never broke into one but a few ideas i had would be a slimjim (idk if it will work on those trucks) try the back window see if it will slide open, vent window, or i think you could take the seal around windsheild off and use a suction cup to lift.. there might be something way easyer just my thought

Re: Wiw?

vent window or a coat hanger in the crack between the window and the door skin.

Looks like a cool project. I am suprised some one left her behind. I would hit the net and search for those clubs and find out the history behind that truck. With the 205 and the axle stiffeners I would bet some one out there helped turn a wrench o n this truck.

Re: Wiw?

the controls in this truck are just like that, but under the vent instead of to the side

From my experience, the easiest way to get into these trucks with least amount of damage is to use the skinniest screwdriver you can find and wriggle it thru the rubber seal by the quarter-window latch/lock and pry up on that and (hopefully) if your arm is skinny enough and long enough too, you can unlock the door easy... wonder if it might be simpler to take the column/keylock assembly apart to get truck into neutral than to pull drive shafts... at the very least you'll need steering... anybody's welcome to correct me if there's better/easier... should mention that I'm not a pro car-thief, just a guy who's been there, done that with my own trucks

Good luck!
