Neat color, keep us posted as you get more painted. Are you going to two-tone it?

Replaced the vent window seals on one side of the wife's '63. Boy, what fun. The other side will have to wait. Gonna go ride the quads while the sun is shining.

Re: What are you getting done this weekend....

Dropping a Ramjet 350 into a buddies 68 short step. Pics this time. We still haven't figured out what the P.O. was thinking when he painted the frame RED on a BLACK truck...

We got the engine sitting in the truck and all of the motor mount and tranny bolts tight. he already ran fuel lines and mounted a Lokar gas pedal yesterday. Now to start adding the front drive pieces, radiator, etc.

Picked up a complete roof assembly from jholley. Made it home a few hours ago to see an inch of new snow on the ground.

I was not sure on this color, but the more I see it I like it better, anyhow this pickup does not have the paint divider trim, so I will keep it all same color, although I was kicking around the idea of 2 tone

Took both Friday and Saturday to check brakes, change oil, replace fuel filters, and lube up the front-end on both my C-20 and the '99 Tahoe.

Better look at the rear end stabilizer bar. I think it may bee holding the truck up on that side. You need an adjustable one.

Here id the kicker... The P.O. used grey primer under the red, so anywhere you get a scratch in the red, you see grey. i guess they did not know to use red primer under red paint (?)
The new owner I was helping had recently the motor rubber motor mounts with urethane. He told me that it was the hardest time he had ever had trying to get the bolts to line up. I could not figure out why. I have swapped several motors into mostly 72 trucks and it was never a big deal. When I went over to help him pull the motor, he already had the bolts out. When we got ready to stab the Ramjet in, I figured out what was up. THe P.O. used 7/16" bolts in the frame brackets. i did not remeber these being 7/16" diameter bolts. We used 3/8" diameter blts and only had a little hassle with the passenger side lower, nothing major, about 2 minutes hold up. (Trying to put a 7/16" bolt into a 7/16" hole was the problem my buddy had the last time.

Are you thinking track bar or pan hard bar and not stablizer bar.
