I think if you want to get better gas mileage you should think of a LT1/4L60E with fuel injection if you want some gas mileage. And you can get some serious horsepower.

Im not trying to get serious mileage, just better than the average old BBC that got 7 no matter what

If I wanted super mileage I wouldnt be building a truck
