Re: She Dragon 74 GMC

I think the tail lights actually flow pretty well with the body lines, dont like the front end much..

There isnt much room for suspension movement in there either. I also wonder what they did for the front end....

I guess I am the odd man out here. I actually like it. I think what ruins it is the tire/wheel combo is grossly out of proportion. If it had a little lift and proportional tire and wheels it would be pretty cool.

Re: She Dragon 74 GMC

I guess I’m way out there, I like it just the way it is. Different, way different, and it fits the kool factor for me. Would I build one? No, wouldn’t be different, some dude already has one. LOL.

Re: She Dragon 74 GMC

I joined the site (glad to be here, been looking around for months) just to reply to this thread.

According to his interview with the lovely and knowledgeable Courtney, the builder said he used lights from a 08 Land Rover.

Also, I like it. The one (really? ONE?!?) photo from the powerblock doesn't really show it off well. The link in this thread helped a lot, thanks. As far as the "It's not what I would have done." type comments; that's cool, you have your truck and and he has his. Again from the interview he said he wanted 46 inch tires but did not want to lift it. He also wanted steel flares not some bolt-on. Given his vision and self imposed criteria I think it went well. I think it has a little HUMV or new batmobile feel to it. Low, big, wide and mean. I like the extended wheel openings.

Just my opinion, and glad to have a place to express them.
