Thats a cool story about your truck, one you can tell the grandchildren around the campfire lol. A buddy of mine has a '71 Pontiac Bonneville hearse and one night at work the security guard called him to tell him his alarm was going off on his car. Strange thing was, it didnt have an alarm. The guard said the horn was blasting non stop, but by the time my buddy got there it stopped. Glad this stuff doesnt happen to me.

Re: You guys are going to think I am crazy!

I had a 53 I left with my ex at work. I took the Cuttless to the city. When I cam home it was gone and I thought WTH she can't drive a stick. (4speed with granny). Drive all over town looking for her and can't find it anywhere. Went back over to where she worked, went in and there she was. I said, where is my truck????? She said look across the street. Over across the street and about 200 yardds down in a creek was my truck. The compression had leaked off and it rolled across a busy street at lunch straight back down into the creek. I srarted it and drove it right out and back home. Not a good idea to leave an old one in gear (low) and leave it for a period of time.

well last night there was no incident. I finished stripping the interior. I did find one wire shorted out...it was the dome light wiring. Still doesn't explain the other stuff. Like it rolling forward. It shifting from 2nd to 1st. The other thing is...my driveway is flat.
