lks,
My Jimmy might be going to Ohio, if it is and he doesn't want the spare windsheild firewall set-up then that may be an option for that Blazer. I'll let you know if & when. Luv

Sounds good Luv. Let me know.
70rs/ss - it was originally a Idaho truck - it has only been in Ohio for less than 10 years. See what salt can do to a truck... Seller says he has pix from when he got it from Idaho - haven't seen them yet though... |

Re: What would you do - Trade a LWB beater for a rusty Blazer?
4x4 Blazer for a 2wd pickup. I would also do the trade. The Blazer has all the nice stuff. It would be a real head turn at cruise night at Frisch's.
Do they still have them there? We used to cruise the one in Point Place. I grew up on Maher street by Manhattan Blvd and Stickney. Later moved out to Monac off of Laskey. Still remember shortcuts through town that amaze my relatives when I come back...I haven't lived in Toledo for over 40 years. |

Re: What would you do - Trade a LWB beater for a rusty Blazer?
Have it yet - no - we are waiting for spring to do the trade - since my LWB is in the back yard buried/surrounded by a foot or so of snow and I will need to take a cab off the frame of another truck in my yard for him - that will take a clear driveway/yard to get to.
justcuz - yes they do still have the Frisch's in town - and a cruise-in every now and again - I don't get out to Point Place that much though... I used to live off Douglas between Laskey and Sylvania with a couple guys from college - that was well before I bought a house across town though. |

Across town meaning the East side? My cousin and her husband live on the east side. My other cousins, her brothers, both live in my grandfathers old place on Hudson and Chestnut. My older sister lives on Portsmouth. My Mom lives up in Temperance.

Re: What would you do - Trade a LWB beater for a rusty Blazer?
I wish this guy would buy mine in Columbus, cause I don't
think he will want the spare unit I got and I can get it up there for you very easily. That would be closer than here.

Re: What would you do - Trade a LWB beater for a rusty Blazer?
Not sure what that means...
Here are the pix... Traded a 72 C/20 (First 2 pix) and a rusty spare cab/doors for a 72 Blazer, Original Motor, Skid Plate, Swing Away Tire Carrier and some 6 lug rally wheels. The other pix are the Blazer that I got and some more shots of it... It runs good, and I still need to figure out why the brakes are a bit soft, the PO replaced the booster, MC and 2 wheel cylinders this morning before he left. It made the 3 hour drive up to Toledo and then he took off in my 72 LWB heading back to Columbus... |

It will likely need some wiring help in the future...
Anybody recognize this thing (Electronic Ignition Box on inner fender)? |

I'll get you a quote on shipping as soon as I figure out how i'm gonna ship them.
You don't happen to have an extra rear seat lying around do you?? It's the last piece I need to have a complete blazer.
