That looks cool... Now how did you cover that? Is it on a roll or sheets?

Re: I'm one of you guy's

It is on a large fabric roll like what you would find at an upholstery shop. I used upholstery glue sprayed through a paint gun.

That will be a slick ride! A Dropmember is the perfect way to ditch the leaf springs.

Re: I'm one of you guy's

quick update. I got the body off last night and man that was a lot of work for one person. I probably won't do anything else this weekend because my wife's birthday is tomorrow, but I am definitely making progress. I found a 12 bolt that I am going to pick up this week and I guess I will start working on the rear suspension until the front dropmemeber gets here.

Re: I'm one of you guy's

here are a few pics of this weekends progress. It weird but I was driving this thing three weeks ago.

not sure if I am going to use the hammered metal black or silver for the frame.

Hopefully, I'll get the drop member soon.

Re: I'm one of you guy's

well, i was making some good progress today. finally got some parts from porterbuilt and things were moving alone nicely; until i went to bolt in the dropmember itself. apparently 4wd blazers do not have the factory mounting holes for a 2wd crossmember. i need to figure out the dimesion for the forward most mounting hole and from there i can space/drill the holes accordingly. i will start a new build thread once i get that issue resolved. this project should begin to progress pretty quick moving forward.

Re: 88 2wd Blazer project

Ya, I'm wondering how he figured out the mounting holes. I'm hoping to start tearing into mine after new years. Using stock front parts though...
