Hahah I will have to check in and see if it is still in one piece!

And that wagon IS badass! If you build the motor for the truck like that, it would be awesome.

Working on a tilting front clip bu before I can do that I had to make a radiator support which was independent of the front bodywork.

Re: Project GM Benz

i little bit know about it.Mercedes created the world’s first production diesel-powered passenger car in 1935 and began putting oil burners in its mid-sizers in 1955.If you're looking for a reliable, long-lasting, inexpensive car, it's hard to beat an old Mercedes diesel. The diesels from the 1980s, including the 300SD, 300SDL, 300D, 240D, 300TD, and 300CD are relatively inexpensive to purchase, and they can still be reliable cars after all these years! After driving 300SDs, 300SDLs, and 240Ds for many years, I have become a die-hard fan, and wouldn't dream of owning anything else! I have a 1984 300SD with 679,200 miles (1,093,067 km), with the original engine, as verified by the previous owners. Never had an overhaul or any major work done! Unreal!! My wife's 1980 240D has 330,000 miles (531,084 km), and my step-daughter's 1987 300D has 294,000 miles (473,147 km). All three of our cars are driven regularly. These cars will last for years with regular service and maintenance!

Re: Project GM Benz

there verry relyable my father was a taxidriver and drove the same benz for 500.000 km (310685 miles)with the only service being brakes tires the oil and filters

a couple of crazy swedes making them go like stink too , they basicly use a stock engine rebuild the pump to take 7 mm plungers and mount a bigger turbo on it usually a holset hx35 or hx40 , big smoke both from the tires and the exaust , there realy reving up those motors
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2iNQXTUZQaA
funny thing is they use stock running gear as whell exept for a heavier duty sintered clutch and i havent heared about them breaking any of the stuff more than usual

still curious still waiting on seeing it done
