Re: 3/4 ton to 1/2 ton.

Sounds like a lot of work to me just for wheels.

Might be easier to sell your 20 and get a 10.

Re: 3/4 ton to 1/2 ton.

I'm doing the same thing. I got the whole front susp. setup from an '80 half ton. I have a 71 disk brake setup but I choose to go newer because i wanted a broader range of parts. I also got the steering gear for power steering and the rear axle. Now the rear axle is from a leaf spring truck. I got a link from someone on here to get the new axle perches and bracket to locate the tracking arm. I can get that link if you need it. It will take some work but I think well worth the sweat and blood.

Hey Zac, just a little FYI, the rules of the site are here for a reason and you agreed to them when you signed on as a member. I don't appreciate you editing out another Mod's comments and replacing them with your own when he was simply giving you a friendly reminder that you were breaking the rules. That is a quick way to get yourself a vacation here!

If you do not want to follow the rules of the site, please feel free to use and click on the "log out" button. I expect that this will not happen again.
