Re: LMC trim
So for $40 you'd do all mine too? You got any pics? I would really like to see how it turned out.

Re: LMC trim
no i didnt take any pics.. and what i said is YOU could do it for 40 bucks after you get the nessisary tools.. the only reason i didnt charge him for it was cause i owed him a favor. it is easy but time consuming. i used mothers mag wheel polish on it but i have heard flitz stainless steel polish works well also... honestly after all was said and done it looked better then the trim peice he did buy from lmc.. it had alot deeper shine.

Re: LMC trim
I purchased the front grille trim for my son's 86 truck from LMC and found that the fit was not what I desired. I ended up destroying one piece and returned the rest. I went to another source to get the stuff that I needed and paid the difference for what I was working on.

Re: LMC trim
Most all of the repro moulding sold in AMerica is made by Corvex. LMC just a reseller like we are to. You will not find any real good repro moulding. Its best to get your re-anodized and restored or just keep shearching for it. Its really not made on old used equipment its just not a good reproduction. Maybe someday it will.

Re: LMC trim
I got 1 piece of trim for a replacement. Looks like it was bent by hand with flatnose pliers.
