Re: bbc headers

Glad you finally got them in. I went with the same headers on my 59. I had to notch the outer shell on the drivers side motor mount (didn't change structurally), and grind on the a-fame a bit just for added clearance. Mine is a 427 CBB.

Re: bbc headers

69trk - Thanks for the pictures. What size of pipe did you use to reinforce your cross member thru holes? Also, what size of exhaust are you running through your cross member? Thanks.

Re: bbc headers

You might consider reinforcing your crossmember.

Re: bbc headers

i'm going to buy the ece crossmember. I was going to reinforce mine, until i seen a guy here at the track running low 10's for over 8 years and he never reinforced his. I do believe it's good insurance tho...I'll have my welding buddy come over and weld some flatstock on both sides this winter...

Re: bbc headers

Can you take a picture from the drivers side and show us where #7 primary comes down? I cannot find a header that will work with my big block zbar and bell crank. It keeps wanting to hit primary #7. I need a header that goes straight down there.
