Re: She's in the shop for her drop
white72c10, I've got a question... is there a reason you didn't like the 4.5" drop on the truck? Just to low, or did it not allow for an adequate turning radius?

Now those words are like music to my ears....but the price of a plane ticket to get you here would kill the money saving part

YES. As the rearend comes down,... the panhard bar will push it to the passenger side. An adjustable bar will allow you to re-center it. And,... with it being adjustable, it will work with 4", 5", or 6" drop springs.

Re: She's in the shop for her drop
Well with the drop, my original wheels and tires won't work because of tire size and offset, plus they are ugly. I'll probably go with the Cragars as their offset is completely different that what I had. And to answer the other question yes it is too low, I like them low but need it to be slightly usable, if I were to keep the front so low then I'd have to lower the rear another inch or so, which I don't really want to do. Here are a couple pics with the Cragar on the front with a 255/60/15 tire. Also why does my wheel sit so far back in the wheel well now? From the direct side it looks like it is at least an inch closer to the rear of the fender.

Re: She's in the shop for her drop
Nobody seems to cover these little details like checking your exsisting wheel size before you start buying lowering kits otherwise your tyres will hit the wheel arch when you lower your truck. I've got 275x60's on mine so now I know i'll need a new set of wheels before I start, which has now added big time to the cost of that project
