Re: A few members and I might be making a road trip Sat

Are any of the 72 a/c cabs any good, rust wise? Have a buddy looking for a cab. That blue 4x4 looked to be decent condition in the last pics. The blue 67 looked to be in good condition. Looks like alot of usefull trucks. Looked like a good trip.

Re: A few members and I might be making a road trip Sat

Thanks for the pics i love hangin out at those kind of places. A lot of the stuff up here in Canada that has been sitting for a long time is to far gone and alot of our trucks up here were farm trucks so they are beat really bad .You guys are lucky to have that stuff kickin around. If i ran across a factory air truck with a tach dash i would be jumpin for joy!

Re: A few members and I might be making a road trip Sat

Daren, no good body parts up there. I do have a decent 72 AC cab here. It does have some rust but not real bad, $100 for it
Jeff, The blazer was pretty good shape, been some painting done on it. It came from New Mexico, he is fixing it up for his 4 month old grandson. My wife didn't yell anything she couldn't believe I came home with a empty trailer and didn't buy anything
Cmac, I enjoy looking at places like this too, this guy had more Cheyenne's and supers than I have ever seen in person in my life I think.
It was a fun day was kind of cold but fun.
Rob and Jeff and I BS'd about a bunch of stuff, they are the greatest guys to hang with, we all seem to think alike about alot of things.
Thanks Randy

Post #29. Look really good. Looks like someone was buried inside of that cab. You can see both hands. I like looking at what has been left in them.

Re: A few members and I might be making a road trip Sat

He has alot of good parts around there, I didn't try real hard get a price for stuff, asked about a couple things. There is some, quite a bit of motor brackets, alot of PS setups, brake booster stuff, alot of interior stuff, quite a few 4x4's around there, some BB stuff. He's taken all the tilts out of them, the one truck in pic with the tilt, he is keeping. Only the one tach I seen. He's going on a vacation next week, so I'll get ahold of him after that and see if I can get some stuff bought. He drives around the area and finds these trucks and hauls them home, or I should say to one of his places he stores them, We went to five or six different places. I'm sure if he was a bit closer to me I'd be trying to buy alot of his stuff but since he's so far away, I'll probably just try to buy a truck or two and some parts off the others. He knows what his parts are worth so I'm not sure what I'll be able to do. He's a nice guy so hopefully I can make a deal or two with him. Thanks Randy
