Dug up some old pictures from the 70's for ya CG.
The first one is from 1972 when I got it from my Uncle. After looking at the picture the trailer now scares the heck out of me.

And I was worried about putting the Caddy on my trailer...Yikes!


I had a 61 Lincoln convertible, but no Caddy.

Found some more history for you CG.
Pic 1 I was working at Sears in 1972 and had to go to work after I picked up the car with my new 1972 Cheyanne 3/4 ton.
Pic 2 The interior in all of its glory in 1972.
Pic 3,4,&5 Jumped to 1989 and the instalation of the subframe.

sweet deal for both. I really dig that old caddy. those and 47-48 fleetlines are my favorite non muscle cars by far. Nothing cooler than a roof line starting at the top of the windshield and ending at the back bumper... all one smooth line. that's style.

The one thing I don't like about 4x4s, the mandatory stool/ladder requirement and the one foot dance to get at anything
