Some sandpaper, little sheetmetal, some bondo, and a gallon of gray primer, that old girl would be a pretty decent beater/bomber!

Good find for free. Whats it got for a motor?

Re: Hubby goes fishin'....

Sometimes free just isn't cheap enough, but this one runs and drives, so for at least parts it is a sweet deal and does look better than some of the starting points on this board.

That's the idea. Stan was saying a little bondo and she'll be as good as new. I was looking at the rot and told him, "that'll buff right out". He looked at me and told me I was spending too much time on this board. It's got a NAPA 350 in it. Purrs like a kitten. Well..you know what I mean. But she does fire right up and runs on her own power. New brakes will be in the works as she doesn't like to stop on her own power too well. Can't wait to take her to the fire lanes and see how she handles. Jerry was just using her to pull his old boat in/out of the water. Now that he's upgraded (Stan sold him our old Stamas...too big to trailer), he told us to come get the truck. And I said it was free, but there was some beer involved...but heck, there'd be beer involved anyways, the way I see it.
