That '68 step looks familiar, Are there other pics of it floating aound?
Sure looks nice and clean from this view. Of course where's the new project? (Edit: wasn't quick enough) J/K. Glad you got things sorted. I am sure I will learn more about your projects... Keep-em comming. Like a time warp allready on page two - Talk about "post a quick reply".. I have an '86 as my daily. She needs some TLC though. Again Welcome from Ga. Re: New toy
Here is the skinny on the truck. It runs and drives. 350/4 speed, drum breaks on all 4 corners. Very minimal rust.

Re: New toy
A 11 hour tour, a 11 hour tour..........Truck is home, to my supprise it has what looks to be a factory v8, 4 speed, and a 12 bolt posi rear end. odd for a 68 swb, rust issues; a few small holes in d-side floor, front p-side cab support and front bottom of fender. all easy fixes. the bed floor is dent free and a few small dings in inner fender wells. not sure why the po took a sander to the body, most of it was straight and original green paint. has a new carb, 3 core radiator, heater core, and some other odds and ends. the darn thing runs and drives really well. $1300.00 is what I ended up paying for it. I will post travel and more truck pics soon.

Re: New toy
Hello all, I just could not help myself but to tinker on this thing and bomb it around town for a while before I start tearing it apart. Some of you may understand.

Re: New toy
Hello guys, Just thought I would let you know what I been up to. I found a 72 with power disc, steering, and 5 lug axles I will be picking this up next week for $250.00. And a complete black interior with recovered seat for $150.00 as well. With tool box and a milk crate of fluids I have been driving the truck daily and working on it at the same time. Kind of a rolling mockup you might say. The biggest trouble at this point is with a truck 4 speed and 410 gears in the posi it tops out about 55 mph { not pushing it ). That will all soon change. The 67 front fenders are now on the truck and the holes in the bed have been shaved. Body work over powder coating sucks. I won't do that again. Having a lot of fun with it and get a lot of smiles and thumbs ups.
