Re: High School Build 72 Chevy LWB

There should be two brackets on the bottom corners of the talegate. There are four bolts that hold those brackets. The bolts are hiding behind that huge bumper.
Good luck with your truck

Re: High School Build 72 Chevy LWB

i finally ripped the bed wood out most of it fell out on the ground (that was hell) i finally said screw it and dumped it all on the ground and then i towed it out with (i was all by myself) toyota and swept it out so now its just the trim pieces are there then i noticed how dirty my undercarriage was and the bed strips are toast not event media blasting would help there TOAST so this upcoming weekend im gonna take the trim off the whole truck and the bed strips out and hopefully get the tailgate sanded and primered black and hopefully the grill too so i'll get the camera out and take some pics for you but the exterior picture didnt change much because i need more black primer and dont have any money

Re: High School Build 72 Chevy LWB

The primer is made by PCL and its called "901 black" its a great product, it goes on THICK and sands really nice. it even turns grey when you sand it almost eliminating the need for guide coats. Plus it looks badass! but it is very rough on a side note untill you sand it...

Trucks looking awsome btw! keep it up and youll probobly finish way before me!
