Wheel arch is good, but the lower part doesn't look much better than the other side. Do you have access to a lwb bed? I think it's the same and that might be a better option for you. Any interest in the roof rack?

No worries John. I wish I could figure something out about the tank. Do you know anyone traveling from here to you or somewhat close? Do you go on vacation to the south anywhere? I could get it to Pensacola this fall if that would help. Let me know.

Re: Parting 1971 Suburban (NM)

Thank you Hart_Rod. LWB patch panels aren't a bad idea, would be easier to find. Roof rack sounds cool, but don't have use for one.
This thing had factory gauge cluster? What kind of shape is the under hood wiring harnesses & under dash harness? I'd also like the little ko plugs where the oil pres pipe goes thru the fire wall if its not in too bad shape.

It has the factory cluster and the oil line and grommet. Wiring harnesses are trashed. How about $35 Shipped for the cluster and oil line?

Re: Parting 1971 Suburban (NM)

Is the front seat a bench? Are you selling the seatbelts? I'm looking for ones in better shape than mine. And what about those inner door panels? Selling them separate from the doors? If so, how much?

Don't be greedy, you've already got a posi, you just need some axles, .

The bench needs recovered. Seatbelts are sold. I've got a set of metal panels if that is what you are looking for. Let me know.

Re: Parting 1971 Suburban (NM)

Would you sell the positraction unit out of the third member including the ring gear for $200.00? In other words I dont need the whole axle, just the differential. Dont need it immediately so you could wait until youve parted the rest.
Thanks,
Tim

Tim - I will keep that in mind. I would prefer to make some one a great deal on the entire chassis. I'll let you know,

Rob

Re: Parting 1971 Suburban (NM)

O.K. I appreciate that and know what you mean.

I have an open 3:07 diff I would send you so you could have your rolling chassis without the posi. Just swap the ring gear off your posi and place it on my open diff (I said I need it but that isnt so) and re mount it. Ive done it many times w/o any issues at all.

If so just send me a p.m. and we can work it out.

Thanks,
Tim

Jason, - It has surface rust only and in great shape. I'll go $100 shipped. I can post better pictures later when I get home.

I'd be interested in lower trim clips. I also need one good headliner bow.

There's only a few clips left on, how many do you need. What headliner bow are you talking about, the plastic ones or the metal ones? Pictures?

Re: Parting 1971 Suburban (NM)

I need one of the chromed plastic headliner bows. I like to use all push-in/bolt-on trim clips (ala 69-70) because they pull up nice and tight, unlike 71-72 that bulge and you see the tape. I'd be interested in all of them that you have.
