Re: $44,000 truck
I have a friend that does the same thing, feels that if he buys something at 4 grand, "fixes" a few things and now that it's his, it's worth over 12.

Re: $44,000 truck
My GMC with Hagerty's is insured for $40,000, but mine has 67,000 origional miles , loaded 402BB, turbo 400 AT, Factory A/C with rotisserie restoration done with many hours, and origional. Hagarty also has pics of my truck before during and after restoration to back up the shape of my trucks condition before restoration and what was done to it during the restoration.Things are getting more expensive today. I guess its in the eye of the beholder.

Re: $44,000 truck
I won't bash the truck in question but I will say this. There is a truck in the "Trucks for Sale" section of this message board that is a black swb, factory BB truck for $34K that I would buy everyday of the week before I would buy that truck for even half of what he is asking. The one on this board is 100% re done with only 150 miles since resto, an engine bay you could eat off of, and absolutely drop dead gorgeous!!

Re: $44,000 truck
Oh my god ... OH MY GOD!.....I was looking at the ad on ebay and accidentally hit the "BUY IT NOW" button! What the hell do I do now? I should not look at anything on so little sleep........
I guess I was overtaken by the high quality of this ride and something inside me just had to have it at any cost....

Re: $44,000 truck
he must be selling it for every penny put in to it (including gas, insurance, oil changes, cost of the other vehicle that the engine came out of, etc) not to mention sales tax.
