Nice truck but I have to ask a question. You are going to shave the clearance lights aren't you? LOL They look out of place on anything but a dually! ...Joe

(Chasedale3and8), Thanks man, and yes I thought I'd leave them on and they would look cool once it was lowered but then I took it outside and had a second look, and my wife said she would not be seen in the truck with the cab roof lights on.. So sadly they are off.........

Re: Project "BOWDWN"
Alright guys got some more pics for yall. Finally got my wheels in Wed. as planned and went to get some rubber on them,
Tires are hankook 265/35/22 up front and 285/35/22 out back, A little pinstripe on the original air filter lid. Sanded it down, primered it and gave it 3 coats of engine enamel 500degrees flat black satin spray can from the zone. Here is an under shot to show my dual 40 series flowmasters, sounds wicked.....

Re: Project "BOWDWN"
Last but not least here are a few shot of the truck with the wheels. took some pics yesterday and as soon as I took it out it started to sprinkle and then the showers, so not the best pics but I wanted to keep you guys updated. let me know what you guy think.......................
As you can see on the tire I still need to do some trimming so it will lay flat on the ground. Comment are appriciated.

Re: Project "BOWDWN"
Looks killa!
So the wheels are the same width just different offset? Are running inner fenders up front, and if so do you rub at full turn when driving? |

Re: Project "BOWDWN"
22x8.5 upfront w/ 4" backspace and 22x10 and 4.5" outback. no fenders yet but soon, and I have to lift the truck all the way up to turn them. But I can drive highway this low...(silvrbreez) thanks for the compliment.
