There was a red truck on ebay awhile ago in the $50k price range that I would rather have (if I could affor either). I had a rear roll up window....here's a picture of the interior....much nicer IMO

yeah i remember seeing that truck on ebay also. It was auctioned off at Barrett-Jackson this past January but i forgot what the final bid was.

Not me but I don't think a guy could build it for anything close to that with the same exact stuff in it if you had to pay the going price for everything.

The only problem is that where ever the new owner takes it, it will always be Stacey David's old truck off the show.

Still my favorite '67 by far. I've seen it in person as well as spoken with Stacey, great guy all around.

$67K is a great price, great for the charity as well

A friend of mine bought Copperhead. He is heading to Nashville tomorrow, and meetign up with Stacy about 1 to pick it up. I know they have been filming all day some footage of it, and I believe that he will be on the show recieving it. I cant get out of work or I would ride up too.

To say Im jeleous is an understatement. At least I will get a ride in that truck finally

I'm sure he's going to be happy with his new purchase. Is he planning on driving it, or just keeping it to say that he's got it? Either way, make sure you steer him our way!

Oh, he will drive it. And knowing that Stacy built it, it can handle the abuse. The funniest thing about the sale I have heard from him so far it that in the discussion that he had with Stacy, he was told that Stacy had to put new tires on it...they were already wore doen to the wires. Yet the truck only has 750 miles on it?!?

I am not downing stacey at all. I do not know him. But he is not the one who built the truck. It started out for Dave Clack the former owner of Early Classic Enterprises. He shipped all the parts out to have it built on the show. People from all over did that truck. Then Stacey bought it from Dave. He lost money on the truck if he sold it for that. That is just my opinion. Jason

Huh...I didn't know it before, but this website here says that the paint and bodywork was done by by Kevin Tetz, the new host of that...ahem..."show" that Stacey used to be a part of.

Stacey was that show. The new format sucks. Even my kids don't like watching the new Trucks cause all they do is bolt stuff on newer trucks.

Gearz is pretty sweet though. I just recently realized it moved from ESPN to Speed and now have the Tivo picking it up every week.

As for the truck, it's badass no matter who was involved with the build. $67k seems like a steal to me.
