The military Blazers were 84-86 and ran 6-lug 8 x 15s.Those 5-lug 8.25 x 16.5s are from when these trucks were new because there were no wide or hi-flotation hiway tread light truck tires in 15.
I had them on the back of my very first truck,a`72 short fleetside that I didn`t know was a Highlander until about 1988 or so.I had 8 x 15s on front anf had `56 dog dishes popped on them.

Re: WTB: 15x8 5-lug Solid Steel Wheels

I have two I'm willing to part with, in fact I got them from the guy who used to sell them on e-bay. Only needed two but he'd only sell them in sets of 4. NOS Kelsey Hayes 15 x 8, never had a tire mounted, but a little surface rust on the insides (would be covered by the tire). Actually got them to run with my COPO dog dishs (sorry for the dirty pics). I paid $100+ shipping for the 4, so I'll do $50 + the ride on the 2 remaining for a fellow board member if you promise to post pics when you get them mounted. Let me know.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Phaedrus nailed the copo caps I want. I love that look. Simple yet muscular. I tried to find them a while back with little luck. I need a set of these rims and caps. 2 7in and 2 8in.
