Very, very nice mate....and I have to agree, those pics of Burbs show that they really are things of beauty.

Thanks man! It is pretty sharp, and a real survivor as well since it was owned by the same people for over 30 years! Kind of a cool story.

I am the same way, I was not into burbs all that much.... but... then once I started seeing how cool they can be and presto! Theres one out in the shop now!

Re: Got a new toy last night...

Number98...that is a very nice Burb... I agree that some of the models start to grow on you. I must admit that I use to favor SWB trucks over anything else but as my taste matured...I like LWB trucks as much as SWB trucks. I also like Burbs and Blazers as much as any other 67-72 or models. As a matter of fact I have grown to like my 70cst LWB truck as much as any other model. In my humble opinion...all these trucks look down right . Again on your Burb...it is sweet!!!

Thanks man! I have to agree, Rob was very honest, if not down playing the condition of this ride for me (it was nicer than he let on...). I recieved tons of pictures from him and he even stored it for me while I traveled all over the country for work last year!

I agree 100%

I used to only like the short/fleets but then I began to love them all! And... thanks for the comments about the old burb. I can not wait for a few months to pass so I will have some progress made on her. It seems that I don't "have" time to work on the old girl but from the stack of parts sitting in the shop I have apparently "found" the time to place quite a few orders

Re: Got a new toy last night...

I know it has been a while.... Between work and life it seems like projects move very slow these days. Anyway I have been making a few upgrades on the old girl. I might even start a build thread if I can carve out enough time to get some real work done... anyway here is a teaser with a few upgrades I have gotten around to....

Thanks a lot guys! I am just hoping that next year I can really get started working on her! Might even have to start a build thread.
