the only thing i got truck related was a turtle wax kit, and that won't be used for a while considering today i got 1 floor pan in, and i still have to put cab supports, rocker panels, inner rockers, cab corners, and a cab floor rear piece, and the whole other side, but i got a playstation 2 so thats good

My wife suggested I build a 32x40x12H garage so she could have her parking spot back in the garage attached to the house; bought me a couple of retro garage signs, an old GM thermometer and clock for the garage; it doesn't get much better than that! A new home for the '71 Blazer!

My parents got me the carpet for the floor and my Fiance got me the letters for my tailgate. Been working on it over christmas break and she has been here all the time that she doesn't work to help with the truck. I think she wants it done worse than me!!! she's never seen it in one piece and she wants me to drive it to her senior prom. Hopefully I can get the 327 done before that!!!!

Update!!! Since I didn't get that Mig welder and I hadn't bought myself the annual "from me to me" gift I went out to buy a welder yesterday. Well, all they had was the cart as the welders were sold out. I bought the cart and when the wife got home she found me and my 5 year old assembling this thing in the living room.....she is like "what are you doing?" I told her and I knew right away that she had already bought the thing. She confessed that she had bought the welder and cart but was going to wait until my birthday (February) to give it to me!!! I guess I got it early......

I got chrome goodies for my 350. A set of valve covers with torque downs, oil cap, dipstick and tube, and an air cleaner. I have been asking for truck parts as gifts for 4 years now, so this was a great surprise gift

I got plenty of craftsman tools, as well as an optima red top battery. (Actually I bought the battery myself yesterday in that mine decide to give up ghost yesterday). I got it for $65 though from a friend at the part store! Not too bad.

Ha, I guess I was a good boy this year, as opposed to what I thought earlier. My Father and I are making trip to the local welder's supply this week to pick up a sweet 220v Mig Welder w/Argon and a set of Oxy-Acetlene tanks and full kit with gauges and tips. If now I only had some money to buy all of my patch panels.
