Paul and Asa,that`s just peachy!I have that mag, too, and I believe those trucks planted a seed in my mind.Running down south watered it and my 1st trip to NorCal fertilized it....nice batch o,pics there, thanks! I totally agree.i don`t even have a wall space big enough to hang it,but I had to have it.I love the diversity, the GM styling in each one,and mostly those precious memories associated with these rigs.i`m leaving it in front of my x`s closetI love the classiest RV era out trucks are part of.When else was there a model specific to the pastime?(not to leave out the prior Custom Camper models...same era).A buddy put me on to the vendor after he nabbed the all light trucks wall ad.The guy still had three more.A big truck one,all commercial vehicles from vega Panel to Astro,and...I forget.I had to pass for economic reasons or I would have bought him out.Pretty dang pricey.Actually,if the guy hadn`t pulled out early,I would likely have been drawn back for the rest.(picture the cartoons where an aroma lifts and floats the character to the source) Here`s another family camping ad from 1989:

I thought I had a copy of this one that had been photoshopped to look like just one solid image...I couldn't find it.

Re: 67/72 Truck Advertisement Thread
There's that "New Breed" copy. Too bad that never really caught on as the iconic label for this generation of GM trucks. Like the Post war thru early '50s are the "Advanced Design," [or AD]; the late '50s thru early '60s are the "Task Force". "New Breed" just never flew. Maybe because it was too close to Playboy's old line: "What kind of man reads Playboy? .... He's a new breed of Cat..."
