Re: SIX Cylinder or V8

I am leaning toward keeping the six just because I like to be a little differnt, but then I am the type of guy that would appreciate a 1970 chevel with a SIX. I also know that if a super clean 70 chevel body was found it would almost be 100% that a big block would be put in it. Trucks and cars are different and maybe it is not as big an issue with the truck crowd.

Re: SIX Cylinder or V8

If you have any intention of selling the truck, 9/10 people will want a V8 over the 6. If it's a 292, a 350 will get better mileage anyway.

Re: SIX Cylinder or V8

I rebuilt mine with 3 OT OD, then modernized everything else.
Check it out.

Re: SIX Cylinder or V8

How about a 4.3 or a 2.8, V-6 or do the unmentionable put a Toyota 22R 4 cyl in it!
