The fact that they aren`t stereo is immaterial.That`s like saying one of these trucks isn`t work anything because it`s not uel injected or doesn`t have power windows.It`s original to these trucks,that`s the value.

Ok-I just bought a stock AM radio to go in my 67GMC. The PO cut the dash to install a standard radio. Any advice on how to go back to the stock condition? Anyone sell a plate to go back to the two holes?

You can cut the section from a junk vehicle and patch it in or change the whole dash.Or,look in the parts section for one for sale.

They usually do. I put my $20 junkyard OEM AM radio in the red menace about a week ago and other than a little cleaning and oiling, I didn't have to do anything to get it to work.
