Re: My build "Big Green"

Yea, I was there twice yesterday in it. I had two tires going flat. They were leaking around the bead, always seems to happen to me. I had buddy needing tires, and he'd rather burn up than take his ac ride lol. I didn't expect to get the lift I do but my wheels/tires have a good 2-3 inch gap between the fenders when inflated.

Re: My build "Big Green"

I like the 'ole Blazer, but I'm selling it. I built a '92 Jeep Cherokee XJ on Grand Wagoneer D44's, Long Arm, and 8in lift and 37's. It has the Blazers 39's on it now, because the other wheels are beadlocks and Irok bias tires. It's a blast! The wife and I went to Disney OK a few weeks ago.

New plans for the '67 may be BD and doored, not sure if I wanna start cutting it up that much. I like the look, but I also like the body the way it is.

I want to respect the forum rules. If and when we have a meet around Tulsa, or if you make the Gore OK cruise tomorrow night then we can talk.

Mines not bodydropped, incase you may not have known. Most that see this truck think it is. It's just the great thing about these year trucks. I want to bodydrop but when I roll the pinch weld I'll gain maybe and inch. I'm ordering 24's this week.

Re: My build "Big Green"

Right now it's a Boss 313 for a 22/24 combo, or Boss 330 for a 24 all around. Still kinda looking around.

Re: My build "Big Green"

Well, on mine I can go 29.3in tire and it should lay out and not go over the front fenders. The back has been setup for a 32in tire. The front with a 29.3in tall tire hit the firewall and the rockers are 2in from laying so I'll have to tub my firewall so my tires can go into my firewall enough to lay out. It's a lot of cutting and stuff to lay flat. The 24x10 offset on the wheel I want may not fit good, if not I'll build A-arms and make them shorter to allow my wheels to tuck enough to clear my front fenders. My first bagged truck and now I know just how much work goes into getting a truck to lay flat out.

Re: My build "Big Green"

Sometime before the warm season I'll have wheels, and tubbed firewall. I'll have it fully shaved(except tailgate), bed floor, and I'm dropping the body down and rolling the pinch weld under my cab. I had something traded for a 5.3 but deal went bad and I didn't get it. I'll be redoing some .041's that I have and swapping the heads out.

When it's warmer I'd be down for coming over man. I should have me a house this March, that's when our lease is up on this place and we don't want another year here. This is a temp place to be closer to town until we get a house. The house will be located anywhere from 20-30miles south of Fort Smith. I told her she can pick the house but it has to have a two car garage and hopefully we can find one with a little shop, I'm not picky at all lol.

Re: My build "Big Green"

Two car attached garage was her idea as well as mine. I'd just like a shop to fit 4-5 cars in, nothing big lol.
