The red wire is the hot for the lighter and the green seems to be for the light. I just can't seem to locate the light connection at the block under the dash. Please look on your wiring diagrams because all of the ones I have and have seen do not have the lighter. Working now on epoxy of steering wheel cracks, working great will post when done.

Look at post # 15. I'm telling you, the cluster illum on the upper right one slot down of the fuse box. It might not be the factory location, but the cluster illumination on my pickup does not use this lighting terminal, and it is a perfect spot to get tapped into the dash illumination dimming panel lights.
