No, it isn't lowered. It's got brand new factory height springs... a 2/4 drop is in the future for it. I dont care for the grasshopper look myself.
The rims are 17's and im not sure on the tire size. (new one's of those in the future too lol)

For such small pieces, I'd fab something up from some fairly thick metal matching the radius of the trunnion. I used my handy-dandy metal thickness, use it once in a few years, gauge thing and the metal looks to be 13 or 14 gauge. This is on the not rusty but somewhat dented tailgate (that I'd be happy to give away if someone would take it) leaning against the truck in the driveway (hint, hint).

I actually have three tailgates and one truck: The good, the bad and the ugly (da, da, da). The bad is on the truck now. Ha! I make me laugh.

Getting back on track, I could take a few measurements. They are one piece stampings, but I'd probably make a pair of square U shaped pieces, then bend a pair of round bits with the radius of the trunnions and weld them to the other pieces. Then weld those to the gate, and touch up the paint.

My thought would be to take the trunion with me to a metal supply place and find a piece of scrap tubing (most of these places have "cut offs") and find a piece that the trunion fits into. I would look for something in the .120 range wall thickness. Then take it home and cut it so you can replicate the missing piece (half moon) and weld it in. Should be fairly easy to do and then spot paint the area.
