Re: 235 I6 Valve adjustment

Well I have been working a lot lately but have had a few good nights and a couple of sundays to work on the truck a little at a time. Everyone here likes pictures so here are a few updates. This is getting so close to being fired up I cant hardly wait!

I had my exhaust manifold splitter patch for the dual exhuast re welded shut, bent and flared all the fuel lines, oil lines, and vaccum lines, installed an auto meter tach and new signal switch...

Re: 235 I6 Valve adjustment

Its Alive! I got it started this afternoon. Found a couple small fuel leaks, tightened the lines up. Fuel pump may need to be replaced because I re-used the old one and it seaps just a little bit.

But now I seem to be having issues with my oil filter. I double checked that the lines are routed correctly. The feed from the oil pressure T goes to the higher side fitting of the oil filter canaster, and the return goes to the block just in front of the exhuast from the bottom of the canister filter. The problem comes from the oil squirting from the nut on top of the filter that holds the cover on! I checked and tightened it but I am worried that I could over tighten and damage it.

Anyone have any ideas?
