We are still deciding exactly how long we are going to make it but I'm thinking something like this.

I agree... keep as much room as possible and turn in into an RV. Lots of kool stuff you could do with that.

Re: 1950 sKOOL BUS

After a year it is time for an update. We decided the a long bus was too much. We would rather have a short bus and shortening this one requires way too much work. My wife sold this bus a couple of weeks ago and we are waiting for them to come and pick it up. I have found two short buses and I'm trying to deal for either one of them to see if I can get one. There is a 49 Chev about 65 miles from here and a 52 Chev about 300 miles from here, obviously I'm hopeing for the closer one. Both of them are in fairly good shape. I'm hopeing one of them will be here next spring.

Re: 1950 sKOOL BUS

I'm glad you brought up this post because it got me thinking about the bus again. I went down to my parents today and my Dad and I drove the 10 miles from there to look at the first bus again and this time I got pics. This one is alittle bit shorter than the one I have now and the body is in alot better shape. I think the length on this one is perfect for what I want to do with it.

I'd go for the shorter bus. But I'd take either one!

Actually there are quite a few, most of them are long buses.

Re: 1950 sKOOL BUS

Update, I sold the bus to a guy in California. My wife and I decided that it was going to be too big of project to shorten it to the length that we want it.
All is not lost however, I know where three others are that are shorter and one of those is the same length as BBEEPS. Now I just have to come up with the money to get one of them.
