Re: gas tank conversion from in cab to under bed

I went to the local Auto Zone store, they had 5/16" brake line, I cut the ends of to remove the fittings and put a small flare on the end (something for the rubber fuel line to hang on to) I bent them by hand by lining them up on the outside of the frame and following the contour of the frame, I used rubber between the existing end of the old pipe and to hook up to the new tank fittings. Hope this helps good luck with your build. Remember it is like eating an elephant. "ONE BITE AT A TIME"

I took the sender to a local hose shop and had them braze a male fitting on and then had steel braided made to the front, cost 100.00 bucks.

OUCH!! About $75 more than it should have cost you, but at least you have a good safe line running up there now.
