Re: Members favorite parts source?

There are great Vendors who are members here, that I know, I have seen the list and heard reference to them many times, but is there a list anywhere of what products or services each one offers? Who does parts? Who Specializes in repair etc?

I agree Kennys has always been good to me. I deal with them mostly when they come down to Fort Worth swap meet. Them always have what I am looking for. They have good customer support also.

Other then replying to PM and posts. I keep hearing how great this vendor is but I have PM'ed him and posted in a couple threads he was particapating in, wanting to buy parts and have yet to ever hear anything. Kind of disappointing to say the least. YMMV

Thumbs up Re: Members favorite parts source?

Well, Brothers has been good to me more way's than one, I always ask for Tim he's A young kid,But he seems to care, and always gets my order correct every time,it doesn't matter if I call or walk in. If I'm near Fresno I go to "Fat Fender" and see Gilbert, good person very helpful and great conversion.

Re: Members favorite parts source?

I agree with the most of the posts and believe you should find one or two companies that you like working with and check with them first. If they can't help you, try someone else. Here in Denver, I use Marv Saxton at Golden Gate Parts for some new but mostly used stuff. He has a very large collection of used parts and is well organized. He also has a wealth of information because he has been rebuilding these trucks since the 1970's and usually has an answer for any question I throw at him. If any of you are looking for used and can't find it on the board's "Parts for Sale", PM me and I can get you his phone number.

Joel
