Re: Update:" Project Brown Hornet "
Just a little teazer for you guys...............since my brother in law and his family are coming into town for the weekend, I had to clean up some of my parts stash. Did a test fit on the buckets and console. What do you think? I am still going to have to move the console back and inch or so once I put the 4 spd shifter in but, I am stoked!! I think it looks good. Of course I am going to re-finish the console and throw some temporary seat covers on but, we are on the way baby!!!!!!

Re: Update:" Project Brown Hornet "
Wow.................It has been a year since I updated this............Finally got the motor and tranny mated up and dropped in over the weekend. A little hiccup on how things lined up though. Tranny crossmember is out of a 91' Burb and si mounted in the TH350 holes. I was about 1/4" of lining up the hone in the crossmember wiht the hole in the tranny mount. I had to un hook the motor mounts from the frame to get everything right. Driveshaft is installed as well. Maybe I need to move the crossmember forward some, change the Energy Supsension mount and, get another drive shaft.............
As you can see, I am going to need to work on the shifter opening a little. I ended up cutting it (4) separate times...........swb85 has been a great help on this. Maybe he will chime in and let me know where I went wrong. The shifter is from a GTO (will be changed out for a Hurst # 5384331 that is sitting in a box). I still need to swap the pedals and the column but, at least the motor and transmission are in finally..................
