The P1342 at the beginning of this thread and the P2342 Foward Control Models share the same frame as the chassis cabs.

Re: any info on a Step Van?
Here's a 1968 model from the TV series "Mission Impossible" circa 1966-1973.
It was up for auction as a 1967, but the side marker lights? ![]()

Re: any info on a Step Van?
My dad almost bought one of these like the picture above except smaller (P10 series), from his work place (Wonder Bread / Hostess Cakes) back in the 70's when I was but a wide-eyed teenager.
It was a pretty sweet little van (we 'borrowed' it often) - It could haul just about anything and it was extremely agile. It had a 292 "stovebolt 6" with a 3 on the tree - killer work horse combination!

Did you notice the last two of the three photos had the police behind it? I thought they liked doughnuts not ice cream.

Re: any info on a Step Van?
Funny thing is that my dad's '72 GMC P-10 Value-Van(GMC's version of the Step-Van) is what got me into Chevy/GMC trucks.

This is a 1968 chevy P10 step van. I have one exactly like this. If you are not going to try and buy it could you give me the address in O.K.C. where I could go and look at it. I would like to have another one to either use as a donor vehicle or restore it also. I am retired and always looking for a new project. Thanks for any info you could give me on this...Check out the progress on the one that I have it is on this site under " regarding small step vans" page 3 I am going to paint it this weekend.. Jamie...

Re: any info on a Step Van?
Hey Jamie,
It's sitting at: Mayfair cleaners 5892 nw 63rd Oklahoma city, Ok (405)720-1878 If you look the address up on google, then look at street view you will see it sitting there. I don't think it has moved in many, many moons. Good luck and keep us informed. Joe Posted via Mobile Device
