I think mine are defective. I showed 'em to my wife and she just looked at me like I was stupid.

no; these were definately run in "Mojo Enhance" mode. More than likely the look was from dissapointment in that she had already bought you a set for an upcoming birthday, or anniversary....poke around in the closests and you'll probably find another set.

Well,I got to date that gal.It went real good for a little while. But,it became real obvious she was all about those fender mount reinforcing plates.I just came out and told her point blank,"I don`t even have a set".Sure enough, she had me take her home right then and there.I
I`m looking for true love. That`s the "only" reason I don`t have a pair of these.I want a woman who loves me for being me.Not for what she wants me to be or for what I own, like a pair of these fender mount reinforcing plates.Does anyone else understand the way I feel?...Have you ever felt this way?...Is it just me?...Am I being weird?...Write to Oprah????

You guys crack me up talking about your small part, I 'OWN' a big part, and my wifey gets absolutely giddy when I take it out and show her...even have to lock up the workshop, just so she doesn't go down and sneak a peek

BTW, the part fits great

Tim, hold out for the girl that loves you for the man you are...lol

My first divorce was caused by a situation similar to this. I found out I was being used for access to my "Mag-Lite" collection....it was heartbreaking.

Okay, I assume this is the area you are talking about (shown in red circle).

If this area is not damaged, are they needed? (BTW, already married so I don't need the extra MOJO, she's happy )

that's exactly where they go. '69-'72 they came on there from the factory. '67-'68 they did not. I wouldn't say they are "Needed". This is one of my trucks that "Needs" one:

Re: Fender mount reinforcing plates

Obviously we have here a disagreement! It IS about the size, and how it is packaged( total comittment, plus using the part as intended- no self-gratification here, just using the part as is intended to satisfy the whole)

Shipping aside, you will discover, that if the girl is GU ( geographically undesireable) then it is best to move on...plenty of fish in the sea!

Please feel free to use my years of experiance in this field as a guideline.

MY wife loves big parts, and that makes me happy

Hope 49GMC has a sense of humor

Re: Fender mount reinforcing plates

it's okay. I know she got jipped. what can i say though... my dad had small parts, too. I remember when i was a little kid, he made a joke to my mom about having a funeral for his parts. i didn't really get it then. i've been married blissfully for 15 years now and have four kids.... i get his joke now. Oh man, do I get his joke! Sense of humor? You gotta have one when the UPS guy hands you your small parts in a box.

BTW, Billy Mays was the best!
