so you aren't using the suburban brackets?
It is my understanding that the burb floors are different?

yes i am using the suburban brackets, the floors are pretty much the same!

updates to build

^^^ oLD bumper being pulled of the truck.

^^^ old fender being removed

new fender

new chrome bumper installed

new look of the front end.






Back to be lowered this week! Also i ordered a roll pan, new tailgate and some other goodies that should be here soon!

looks good! love the bumber, should have don a sport bumber in the rear tho instead of roll pan and x2 on the polish! but its comin along great! keep up the work

thats a nice truck, you have done good! my daughter's 77 c-10 was a navy flightline truck it even had the checkers painted on the roof. it looked just like your's when we bought it . keep up the good work . on my 74 i cut 1 1/2 coils off the front spring's and it came down 4 1/2" , if i was doing it again i wouldn't go more than 1 coil , 1 1/4 maybe. on the rear i used 4" shackles and moved the front spring hangers up on the frame 3 1/2 " and it sits about a inch higher in the back so now i am taking the thick helper spring out , that should set it fairly level. i hope.
