Ok, I am one wet tired puppy! It was raining cats and dogs in Santa Rosa where I went to get this truck. I am very happy! It has PS, and PB, I was woried about that. It is a Cheyenne. As the pictures will show it has mold growing on it and a little surface rust on the cowl, etc. I don't think this truck has one dent in it at all. Paint is total junk. Owners widow told me that the bed was a complete replacment due to one side getting jabbed in a weird accident. So its all checked un like the rest which is all factory original. I never posted pictures here so bear with me with me. here goes.........oops hang on

Hey bilge? You said it was a cheyenne but I didnt see a cheyenne package code on your option list? Looks like a custom sport truck option.
I am not knocking your truck though, I did the same with mine. I took a C/10 and put cheyenne emblems on it. You got a super nice truck there for $500..Why cant I find deals like that???? Oh and welcome from Oklahoma!! |

Gene, I have no clue about the Cheyenne stuff. Your right it dosen't say anything about it on the ID plate where it does about the Custom Sport Truck. Maybe those emblems arnt original. don't know if someone messed with the interior but it looks like someone pulled wood grain off the glove box door. It has some on ash tray and around radio. Also the fuel tank behind the rear seat is gone and it has twin side tanks........at least it dosent have those fuel doors everyone talks about.

Looks like they also pulled the small below eyeline mirrors and replaced them with large ones maybe for pulling a trailer?
Anyways, nice truck. Mine looked like that when I began and I have had nothing but fun with it! |

You have a factory Cheyenne there. That truck looks very correct to me. They made CST's from 1967-70, and then changed from CST to Cheyenne in 1971, but GM was a little slow at changing the description on the option sheets. Also, those ARE Below eyeline mirriors, look to have never been off before. The small chrome mirriors were standard and would not be listed on a option sheet. BTW Nice truck and a great buy!!
