"jacked up" is funny... but since we know it will go low, it won't fit quite right... but it would make for a good conversation starter.

Thumbs up Re: Naming the chiefs new truck

Yeah man, I tell you what, man. That dang ol' Internet, man. You just go on there and point and click. Talk about W-W-dot-W-Chevy-dot-com. An' lotsa Chevy Trucks on there, man. Click. Click. Click. Click. Click. It's real easy, man!
Ha ha!
Well we gotta see what plans John has for his new Chemmy, and we can go from there. That Ole' 63 would look pretty good with a set of wide fat hides on the back, and skinnies on the front! Big block with a monster huffer puffing and huffing under the hood like that 63 chevy fleetside pro street on Youtube! Or he can go NOSTALGIA. Led Slead. Lowered, white walls, black night hub caps, Flat black w/ old school phat 50's style candy flames.
Lake pipes, peep mirrors, 327 with 8x2 Stromberg setup, etc. . . .

"lucky" for finding a new one so quick and at a great price and still pay off some bills.

"lucky" that you know how and what to do to build her bigger and better this time.
Thats a good one Apache....Great commentary too, Thanks

Not yet man....I really want to tear into it, but really can't at the moment. The people that are buying my current place are almost done with their paperwork/loan/escrow crap..so we have to be out in like 3 weeks. Besides the move, I have a few more things to repair before I leave...let alone work and the Vette.

My father-n-law was thrilled to see the "black primer truck w/ red wheels" go...but now is pissed that my time will be focused on the "63 BBW with no name because I never knew I needed one" truck...

It'll have one....When the time comes, I will just continue on the same thread.

or along the same lines, you could call it "The Reason"...because i feel like everything happens for a reason...there's a good reason for why you sold your truck, there's a reason why it sold when it did, there's a reason why you found another one as quickly at a such a great deal, & now there's a reason to go bigger & better....or some others:

"The Replacement" or just "Replacement"

or if you ditch the 6, & throw in a motor that hauls some a$$, call it "Schlong Gone"

Stick with the six, name it "Six Gun" or "Six Shooter", or even "Revolver" since the alter ego of the indian would be a cowboy. You could base your build on that theme.

iduno... when you were describing driving to the "body shop" i was reminded of scenes from Pulp Fiction (i have no idea why) so maybe name it Quentin (cus he's an awesome director) or one of the characters from the movie.

I bet your wallet has "Bad A$$ MoFo" written on it anyway.

How about "Optimus Primer" because that is probably what it's going to look like in a few months. Sorry I couldn't help myself . Glad you got back in the game so fast. You and a handful of others on the site are what keeps us slackers going on our decades long projects.

I hear man...it all the non-haters and the props that keep me going.....otherwise I wouldn't have gone with another 60-66 truck.
