I want to bid on this truck. What do you guys think it's worth? I'd have to get rid of my current project but this thing is exactly what I wanted to start with.

Re: Cool 67 short wide "shop truck" on ebay!

Anybody gonna bid on it? I got some more pics from the owner. The rockers and corners are shot and the bottoms of the doors are going to need some work. It's at $3800 right now with a couple of hours left.

I'm trying to decide if I should buy it, fly down there and drive it back to Texas. Crazy, I know.

jim, you've got so much time and money in yours it would be hard to come out without finishing it. i say keep going on yours and build it whatever year you want it to be. from your avatar it looks like you are making fast progress. and if you want a 67 small window truck there is a nice one i saw in stephenville the other day. short wide red truck. real clean. but, like i said, i'd keep going on yours. you remember what happened last time you bought one sight unseen right

Ouch! Well placed reminder. I don't think I'm going to get rid of mine though. What I really want this other one for is a daily driver.

Re: Cool 67 short wide "shop truck" on ebay!

oh, ok. just looking out for you. just north of stepheville on 377 there is a real clean 67 short truck. i called him. he's asking $6500, but i bet it would be bought for less. he has a few old cars and quite a few 67-72 parts. i'd love to have the 67, but i have 4 vehicles right now and no place to put em.

Re: Cool 67 short wide "shop truck" on ebay!

I appreciate it. I'm not big on the small windows though Another thought is that I take the body off of that truck and put it on my completed chassis and drive around a super sleeper.

It just went to $4050. My threshold was $4000. Oh well. It was fun to think about.
