Re: Super rare, 15x7 (6-lug) ralley wheels

Just a head's up - I just got off the phone with Stockton Wheel and they'll make you a 15x7 wheel for around $100. But you'll need to supply them with the center section of the original wheel.

Re: Super rare, 15x7 (6-lug) ralley wheels

When I bought the property I live on I found one of these in an old barn. I saved it but had little hope of finding another one. A few months later a buddy of mine called me saying he got jipped on a set of 6 lug ralleys. He said one of them didn't match. I knew it was too good to be true but I threw an extra 8" ralley I had in my truck and headed to his house. Sure enough he had gotten a 7" and three 8s. He was glad to trade with me!!! I left his house and bought a lottery ticket. I didn't win any money but I got the mate to my 7" ralley so I was tickled to death

From what I understand..... No, not without spacers. This is why I'm buying these later model 6-lug ralley wheels. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

The original 67-70 6-lug steel wheels won't clear the calipers.
You can use the 73-87 4x4 steel wheels or ralleys found on trucks, blazer and suburbans. I believe the steel wheels are a 15x7's instead of the 15x6.5's of the older trucks.

Re: Super rare, 15x7 (6-lug) ralley wheels

I finally got these wheels blasted and powdercoated in a medium silver metalic. There are pairs of 7" & 8" so they can go together several ways.

I think you can see the difference, but it is very subtle because there is only 1/2" change on the inside and out.

This is funny, Now everybody will be on the hunt for them. I want a set and don't have a thing to put them on.
Keith, I would imagine you could easily get a $100 a pop, If a guy needs/wants them bad enough.

15x7's or the normal 15x8's?

The 15x8's are a dime a dozen around here. It's the 7 inch wide version that's hard to find.

Man that makes such a big difference in the way it looks.
And it's one less thing to do to the truck. Great job!!
Why aren't there blue bowtie stickers. Gold is good, blue would be kick a**.

I don't think they ever made them in blue,... since they are a '73-up style wheel.

But,... I would buy a set if someone would start reproducing them. Any Vendors listening?

Does anyone have a pic of a truck with the 7s up front and the 8s out back. I'd like to see the whole deal. I always thought these wheels were different. Thanks in advance!

A friend of mine ordered a new K5 in 1975 and these wheels came on it. It is the only set I have ever seen around here. He still has the Blazer.
