Cool Air Cleaner
Check out the air cleaner. It is the one that sits over the engine and clears a PB booster. Hard to find.

The PB booster that he might want to add later! The normal air cleaner won't clear...but that one will! As I said, "Hard to find". Everyone wants them.

I welded a lot & I loved it! Ahh a weekend off. The aircleaner IS an oilbath air cleaner, but it will clear a booster. Thats the way itr came I'm told. I've never seen anotherone like it on this site but others here say they've seen them - better in a dusty environment they say... They're no fun to remove/store/clean. That bungee is hot huh? the aircleaner is so heavy that that bungee is necessary. Notice in the pics, the WAY cool rope holding the battery in. I have since deleted that option. & Julian, I'll do my best to update as things progress.

Hey Greg, when you gonna make your trip north to pick up your free bed sides and front panel?? I'm gonna be doing a spring clean up in 3 weeks or so and will be hauling a lot of scrap pieces to the crusher. Your box sides are safe tho, I have put them aside so they don't get thrown in.

Update!
Hey all. its been a long time since I updated this post but here she be. After welding in cabcorners, inner & outer rockers, cab supports, sections of both floors under the drivers & passengers feet, fabbing floors for under the tank, new/preowned fenders, kick panels, new door bottoms, a new hood & getting my buckets recovered I've started her up & driven her out of the garage. Remember all that rot? Was it worth it? At times I'm not 100% sure but either way, its done & I'm proud of what I've done so far. what ya think?

I have a few strips of rot under the cross pieces on the bed. As you can see in the background shot, I have a donor bed that I'm going to cut out what I need. & instead of using the factory u-shaped cross pieces, I'm going to pick up some 3" rectangular tubing, modify the ends, drill some holes for bolts & I'll have fixed the rotten bed syndrome (rotting in strips due to crap accumulation in the cross pieces). I know that the corrigations in the beds might line up 100% BUT I'm thinking about line-x or rhyno lining or something like that. That should hide some of the missalignment. & its a truck bed, is supposed to be beat!

good to hear from you too much, I JUST got the seats done - that was the final thing-to-do before driving it out & starting on the bed. I made the seat adjusting lever a little crudely but it'll do for now - i'll post a pic of it soon. get this tho, I didnt open up my seat recovering kit & just gave it & the seats & console to my upholstery dude. he calls me & sez that "the seats are done but they sent you 2 bottoms for the consoile cushions" i called the supplier dec 24th, the sent the correct cover on dec 28th & they arrived today. So right now I just have the seats in but no console, not that it matters cause its full of boxes of misc. parts & the like. The seats look good too. thanks to everybody for your kind words.
