Thanks to "BEARS63" I received a box this morning. Turns out, he shipped it out rather quickly, but I forgot to update my PayPal address to my new, temporary address.

Here a pic of the handle, jack, and all mounting hardware and fasteners....Thanks Bear !!!

Like the slippers! kidding!

Nice score on the jack/hardware.

Looking forward to your engine build, since I keep flip flopping on what to do with mine. Besides a little smoke my I6 runs great.

Btw, go ahead an peel those tape lines off, you are not going to need them.............

Re: The "UnOfficial Rock-a-Chief" Build Thread....

Hey man...those are my saturday morning kick'n back slippers !!

I think the plan for the engine is gonna be similiar to my old truck. Yank it out and set it up on a stand.

Tear into it and check it all out. It sounded ok after I rebuilt the card (besides a slight miss). So I'm gonna go thru it, check it all out. At least a re-seal and paint job it'll get.

Clean up the engine bay, and install the 700.

This truck really deserves a frame off build, but I can't afford that right now (money/time wise)...so just a simple "get it on the road" will have to do.

Looking to build another 'Lowrider' for my parts buddy...that is how I funded the "chief"...so it'll probably work out for this one...(WW tires, spindles, brakes, hardlines, misc parts, etc.) Bartering is the way to go....

I tend to have more time than money, at times !!

Most definately I am.

According to Bear, it does work. However, just the string that moves the dial is broken..just got to replace it.

Notice the big transformer/amp hanging off the side !

Nice radio! I've been looking for a broken one myself, but ebay never seems to have any. I'm planning on taking a broken one and re-fitting it to play my iPod through...
