Thanks. I've seen that truck posted in several places myself....it's a nice truck for sure, but he's had it for sale for a bit...I'm thinking it's been about 6-7 weeks since I first came across it.

Re: Opinions on value....

I would take it to the show, put $27500 on it and see if you get any bites. The guys at the show will know what it cost to build something that nice. Let them talk you down a few grand and you'll both be happy.

That truck has been for sale for quite some time....He started off with the price much higher ( I think 24,900) and supposedly the person that built the truck put close to 50K into it. Just shows how much the market has fallen recently...

Here's his post where he put it for sale in January of this year.....http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=312530&page=4

Re: Opinions on value....

Since it's been a while and I've had a few PM's on this deal, just thought I'd update this thread to let everyone know that I had a nice offer for my truck in the weeks following the (Lone Star Nationals) Good Guys Show, and it went to a new home on Nov. 1st. Hated to see it go, but it was an offer that I couldn't refuse. Ironically, I had decided against selling it a week or two before the show....but the show turned up many guys I didn't know were coming to look. Was great meeting all of you that showed BTW!

Since that time I have gained a nice Pro-Touring fastback Mustang in the garage, and most recently scored a 72' LWB that has been in my wife's family since new. A lot of work to be done on the truck...but that's okay by me.

Re: Opinions on value....

time to change your signature...

So, for enquiring minds...did you get close to what you were originally thinking? Just trying to judge this crazy market...
