Re: 86 Chevy C10 Build
Great work man. It looked sweet when you first got it, then again when it was yellow. However, now you have done a bunch of killer work to it. Keep us updated man. You have a bunch of us hooked now.

Re: 86 Chevy C10 Build
WOW! Good job! That is sick, and looks like it's only gonna be sicker. What was the original color? It kinda looks like my midnight blue '87. Do you have a paint color picked out for when it's done? Are you keeping the original a arms or going tubular? It's good to see another layd out c10 here in Alberta. Any idea when it will be on the road?

As said...Great job! Looks like it gonna be a very nice one. I too am curious about your plans for it. You have a build thread with some attention, keep it up!

Re: 86 Chevy C10 Build
Yea i checked threw all my pics and this is all i have of the bed frame, its just built out of 2x2x.100 square tubing, 1x2x.125 rec. tubing for the main frame and all i did to hold up the box sides is i made an angle iron frame 1.5x1.5x.125 and two pieces of 2x1 rec. tubing to hold it up on each side. I didnt think it needed much cause all the sheetmetal is holding everything up. Hope you can understand this. haha

Re: 86 Chevy C10 Build
Alot of people say my bed is going to way a ton but the boxsides are all skinned so its just all cosmetic from the outside. I know when i took out the stock floor it weighed alot so im guessing its still going to be lighter then the stock box as a whole.
