Re: My 67 Stepside Build

oh just a little tid bit of info.

i sold the frame, bed and front end for 300 bucks so i only paid 100 for the cab and doors. That is a good deal considering a bare 67 cab with more rust goes for a lot more

Re: My 67 Stepside Build

so as of right now the truck is at my parents house about 15 mins away, the green cab has been undercoated, rust has not been fixed but I will band-aid it enough to drive.

I am recovering from a carpel tunnel revision surgery with Pedicled hypothenar fat flap for median nerve and will be out of commission for about 3-4 months..

so I just wanted to get this over here before I lost the info..

Thanks

so this is how she has been for the last 3 months, but she gets started every week even though it pisses off the neighbors
I am very limited on space at my parents house hence the cab on the rear frame section LOL

And my parts pile, bed, front and rear windshields, set of doors, spare bedsides and a few other things my parents love me....

Re: My 67 Stepside Build

Got some stuff done

Friday- Got the reg stickers.

Sunday- got the cab off the back, and pulled the bed out from the back yard.

Today- Wire wheeled the rear frame section and painted with rustoleum hammered black paint.

I need to do some touch ups with a spray can where the brushes would not reach..

Before

Cleaned

Almost Done just need those touch ups

The rear springs and axle are next and will be semi gloss black.

Re: My 67 Stepside Build

Hey guys. Sorry for the dead thread. Since the last post. I have moved twice and not have had a bunch of time to work on her. but I did wake her up today and drove her to work. I am on my phone. Give me a few hours or so and I will update.

As far as the knobs and other little things I will be using everything I can to save some cash.
