Sure I will post some better ones in a day or 2 kinda got a cold snap but I will move her out and take some pics. Its a clean car the old engine was in good shape just dident fit the part. I'm fairly sure the 60k is original mileage. The intereior is actually factory not a rip or crack in the seat very clean except the passenger side door pannel was broke by one of her special ed friends that though he could fix the clip for the lock. I dident know they had a hatch back version in 73 this just has a standard trunk. All I know if the front ever gets hit nova fiberglass clip would pop right on.

Re: What did you get done 10/25/2009 edition

Made five trips to the gravel pit and hauled 3500 pounds of pea gravel in the truck each trip. A little over the 3200 pound load rating of the truck but not too much.

Performed flawlessly. I had to actually use granny low.

The engine upgrades and new clutch gave me all the power to the wheels I needed and the brakes still worked well at the load rating limit.

Spent Sunday tinkering on the 68 Camaro. It is close to firing up with the new drivetrain combination but a ton of the stuff I am doing is custom so the trial & error and test fitting & fabrication are taking some time to get done right. I hope I can get it running & driving before the snow flies.

Just worked on the house and yard work.. But I did find some parts for my Tahoe project, front and back bumpers and GMC grille off of a CFC truck. I knew the truck and tryed to trade him bumpers before he did the CFC. BUt I did get it all for $200 and the paints in good shape. Ihope to get this thing on the ground in the next week or so..

Re: What did you get done 10/25/2009 edition

Spent the weekend painting the new garage (24x30). It's going to house my only toy; my 1979 GMC and all my tools. It also has room in attic truss' so I have additional space upstairs to store parts and more parts (12x30). Now I can get real serious about my restoration.

Same here. No space large enough to build a shop that is far enough from the septic tank, drain field, utility easement, public right of way or not in the clear view triangle. Lots of open space just none of it usable until the sewer system comes this way. No indication of when that will be though
