Re: Coil Spring pinion adjustment shims

Still no luck? Find a local machine shop and have them made. Maybe Try NAPA machine shop. Any good machinist should have less than 1 hour in them.

Nah, a GOOD machinist will have less than 15 minutes in each one of them and you will still pay a minimum of 4 hours for them.

Do you think aluminum would hold up, or do they need to be steel? I am thinking they should be steel. Interesting

The ones that came with my suspension kit are aluminum.

Hotchkis puts them in their rear suspension package, so you may be able to call them and buy them individually, but I'm not sure. I think the ones they sent me are 5 deg.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Re: Coil Spring pinion adjustment shims

The pinion adjustment shims look like a very nice built part. And at that price who could pass that up.

They are nice machined pieces (I have several sets).
