Re: My 93 Crewcab Build

I can't believe you found the truck I need for work and now you're going to chop it up!!!!

They had a red one down the street from me at a car lot that is almost identical to this one including the 454 and tranny but it was gone before I could stop and ask about it. I'm sure they wanted too much for it though.

A lift for the bed swap, and allow me to change my fuel sending unit while we're at it!

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build

I just used 2 ratchet straps diagonal forming a X in the middle and I hooked a engine picker to the middle of the X...but with a long bed the picker might be too short to reach.....

This one is in pretty good shape, not as good as the first one but it definitely usable. I even know a guy that could paint it to match

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build

If you do a step side bed you have to put on a roll pan and shave the rear steps. Or keep your bed and make it a dually. Gotta love long and low, and you already don't care about parking.

Na going short wide with it, seems everyone around here thinks that their beds are worth the price of gold even needing body work... Nope if i was worried about parking i would walk
